Starts with the day of expulsion from school and their experiences. Ruby can't believe that James took the photos. But James stole Cyril's phone and sent the photos to Mortimer to get rid of Ruby and Graham.

Later, James manages to convince Cyril to show the original photos to prove Ruby's innocence. Meanwhile, Mortimer finds out about Lydia's pregnancy and throws her out of the house, sending her to her aunt. Lydia goes to Lexington and tells the truth that she had a relationship with Graham, not Ruby. She also shows the original photos.

Meanwhile, Ember secretly forms a kind of friendship with Wren. Wren's family goes bankrupt, and Ember helps him a lot during this phase. Lydia finds out that she is pregnant with twins.

James eventually gives up the company and tells his father he will sell his shares, and his father throws him out of the house. Ruby tells him he can't stay in a hotel, and Ruby's family keeps him at their house during this period. James starts building the travel blog he has always wanted.

The group reconciles with Cyril. Meanwhile, Kesha comes out as bisexual to his parents and tells Alister that he is ready for a relationship. Lydia organizes a baby shower at her aunt Ophelia's house, where Ruby, James, Ember, the guys, and Percy go. Ruby catches Ember talking to Wren. Wren asks Ember to be more than friends. 

At the party, Mortimer arrives, talks to James, and tells him that if he doesn't return to the company and home, he will destroy Ruby's family. James is forced to return to the company by his father. 

Percy gives James a key, which Ophelia had given him, and tells him to save it with his life. James searches his mother's room, finds a small box, and opens it with the key Percy gave him. Inside, he finds Cordelia's will. Cordelia gives the management of the company to Ophelia until James and Lydia finish school, and equally divides the company shares between James and Lydia.

After this, James finally begins to realize his dreams, like traveling to Thailand, etc. Together with Ruby, they are in the small house in Oxford where Ruby is studying. Lydia gives birth to Henry and Rosie, and as soon as the children grow a little, she will get involved in managing the company.

Finally, a happy ending for the book’s trilogy.

James goes to Cyril's party, and none of the guys know about James' mother's death. They think he is celebrating because the Oxford interviews are over. He drinks alcohol and uses cocaine at the party. While he is doing cocaine, Ruby and Lydia arrive looking for him. He goes near Elaine at the pool and kisses her. Ruby sees the scene and realizes he did it right in front of her eyes.

Three days later, Cordelia's death is announced. The guys then find out the truth and understand why James has been drinking alcohol for three days straight.

The guys try to be there for James and Lydia, but James is in a bad state. Later, Ruby comes and tries to comfort James, and he starts to come around and change his behavior. However, he knows that he has lost Ruby forever.

James thinks he has lost Ruby. Meanwhile, Lydia convinces him to fight for her, seeing how much they are both suffering. James decides to fight for her. He starts attending Event Committee meetings, and gradually, he wins Ruby's heart back. Meanwhile, Lydia strengthens her friendship with Ruby and Ember. Ember meets Wren at one of Maxtonhall's events. Later, she continues to talk privately with him.

That night, Cyril sees Lydia with Graham and realizes they have something going on. Cyril then collaborates with James' father, and the photos that James had taken of Ruby with Graham are edited and reported to Mr. Lexington, accusing Ruby of having a relationship with her teacher, Graham.

Ruby and Graham are suspended from school.

Anyway, I still can't wait to see the second season of the series.

Ben: Fumbling with his cigarette. “You know, it's ironic. Here I am, getting side-eyed for trying to light up, while you're drowning in that steamy world of Netflix drama, and no one bats an eye!”

Mira: Peeking over her tablet. "Well, maybe 'cause my binge-watching doesn’t mean you need to wear a gas mask?”

Ben: "Oh, the shade! But rewind a bit. Remember when smoking was all James Dean and Marilyn Monroe? Everyone wanted a piece of that puff. And now? I'm the villain. Meanwhile, you’re lost in ‘After’ and it’s all cute and trendy."

Mira: “Excuse me for finding joy in movies and not in, you know, slowly destroying my lungs.”

Ben: “Ah, but what about the destruction of your...sanity? Seen some folks (ahem, YOU) almost lose it when the Wi-Fi’s down during a cliffhanger."

Mira: "Ha! Very dramatic, Ben. Last I checked, Netflix never gave anyone bad breath or yellow teeth."

Ben: "Sure, but ever thought about those virtual dark circles? Looks to me like that couch, and you have become quite the besties."

Mira: "At least I socialize! Netflix shows are conversation starters!"

Ben: "Just like cigarettes were back in the 50s! 'Got a light?' was the original 'Seen any good shows lately?'"

Mira: "Everything's good in moderation, smarty pants."

Ben: "True, true. But tell that to your 'just one more episode' at 3 am."

Mira: "And tell that to your 'just one more ciggie' every half hour."

Ben: "Touche. We all have our vices, don’t we? Some just have cooler soundtracks.”

Mira: "And some, unfortunately, come with ash."

Netflix vs. Cigarettes: A Debate as Heated as Your Favorite Latte Sheds Light on Society's Shifting Perceptions. Just as smoking was once considered sophisticated and later recognized for its adverse health effects, binge-watching is now a socially acceptable pastime, but its long-term effects are still unfolding.

Times change. Society’s perceptions are often molded by trends, cultural shifts, and emerging research. Just as smoking once had its glory days and faced subsequent criticism, binge-watching may one day face a similar trajectory (like the trajectory of our future C-Shaped Spine). It's a reminder to consume media thoughtfully, much like savoring a scoop of your favorite ice cream rather than gobbling down the whole tub. Carve out your own little 'watching moments' and promise yourself to stick to them. 

Let’s be aware of our habits, and recognize that what's socially acceptable isn't always what's best for us.
