“Save You” by Mona Kasten Plot Summary
Maxton Hall (The World Between Us Series) is based on “Save Me” by Mona Kasten. The second season of the series will be based on “Save You” by Mona Kasten. I loved the series; the actors were wonderful and stayed true to the books.

James goes to Cyril's party, and none of the guys know about James' mother's death. They think he is celebrating because the Oxford interviews are over. He drinks alcohol and uses cocaine at the party. While he is doing cocaine, Ruby and Lydia arrive looking for him. He goes near Elaine at the pool and kisses her. Ruby sees the scene and realizes he did it right in front of her eyes.
Three days later, Cordelia's death is announced. The guys then find out the truth and understand why James has been drinking alcohol for three days straight.
The guys try to be there for James and Lydia, but James is in a bad state. Later, Ruby comes and tries to comfort James, and he starts to come around and change his behavior. However, he knows that he has lost Ruby forever.
James thinks he has lost Ruby. Meanwhile, Lydia convinces him to fight for her, seeing how much they are both suffering. James decides to fight for her. He starts attending Event Committee meetings, and gradually, he wins Ruby's heart back. Meanwhile, Lydia strengthens her friendship with Ruby and Ember. Ember meets Wren at one of Maxtonhall's events. Later, she continues to talk privately with him.
That night, Cyril sees Lydia with Graham and realizes they have something going on. Cyril then collaborates with James' father, and the photos that James had taken of Ruby with Graham are edited and reported to Mr. Lexington, accusing Ruby of having a relationship with her teacher, Graham.
Ruby and Graham are suspended from school.
Anyway, I still can't wait to see the second season of the series.
